This week sees the first of a fleet of Bulk Tipping trailers hitting the road for Swain based on a specific customer development within the Environmental sector.
The trailers are Triaxle Weightlifters on air suspension capable of carrying 70 cu yds and are equipped with the Vishay on-board weighing system and a roll-over sheet with front mounted lifting arm.
James Wyatt, Group Operations Director said “We have worked closely with our customer to define the trailer specification to meet their exacting needs. This is the first inroad into Bulk Tipping that Swain has had in a number of years and follows a 3 month engagement process with our customer who is growing their UK business at a significant rate”….”We will be growing with them as a partnership to ensure minimal disruption to their forecast supply chain demands”.
Swain operates a fleet of over 500 tractors and 800 trailers across 8 UK depots, servicing many industry sectors within the UK and across Europe.
