DVSA ATF Lane

Swain Fleet Services new “Amber” rated ATF lane opened in July 2023 with testing commencing every Monday & Friday with two full days to start and with plenty of spare capacity to expand into other days when required.

The workshop at Rochester has undergone a full ATF install over the winter months with our partners Premier Pits, VLT who supplied all the main equipment and PhoenixEquip who supply and fitted the Tachograph calibration equipment and training, so we are well positioned to look after your fleet, whatever size of trucks and trailers you operate.

As we were challenged to find suitable test bookings for our own transport fleet, we have taken the decision to build our own new test facility, large enough to cope with even to the longest of trailers and multi axle fleet, and we are now in the position to offer a full retail commercial workshop 24/7 with state of the art roller brake testing equipment and inspection facilities to keep your fleet moving. We can offer the hire a test weighted trailer, individual test weights with loading and steam cleaning, where required, and all the usual voluntary testing services to ensure the best result possible.

You can choose to present the vehicles yourself or let us take the strain and present them for you and should the unfortunate happen, we are positioned on site to complete any repairs to either truck or trailer with full commercial workshop with bodyshop and fabrication facilities to get you back on the road fast.
